Celebrate the life of Chez Josephine restaurateur Jean-Claude Baker at a requiem mass at Holy Cross Church, 329 West 42nd Street in New York on Saturday, January 31, 2015. The restaurateur, biographer and humanitarian, who died on January 15, 2015, was 71.
The Holy mass will begin at 10:30 a.m. sharp, and all are invited to attend. In lieu of flowers, a donation to the charity, Autism Speaks, is requested. Please click here to make a donation.

The Chez Josephine family mourns the passing of our beloved “Maman” Jean-Claude Baker.
Throughout his life, Jean-Claude brought laughter, joy and love to all who knew him. His larger-than-life personality and unfailing generosity touched everyone around him.
His love will endure in the lives touched by his special magic. A magic that his Chez Josephine family will do its best to continue in his honor. The restaurant remains open as Jean-Claude would wish.
